Business Process Outsourcing (BPO)
is one of the fastest growing industries in the world today. India was
considered as one of the leaders in the BPO market globally. But industry
analysts now concur that the Philippines has overtaken India as the major player
in the hot BPO industry.
While India has a literacy rate of
only 66%, the Philippines features a soaring 94%. Compared to other neighboring
countries pursuing to the BPO market, Filipinos are preferred by foreign
clients because of their neutral accent. In fact, the Philippines boast one of the
largest workforces fluent in English, both speaking and writing. Considering
Filipino agent’s natural warmth and friendliness, makes highly commendable by
clients. Philippines moreover, are known for its superb educational system and
the government has full support with the BPO companies and some reputable
colleges and universities provide a large number of candidates entering the
workforce annually.
It’s more fun in the Philippines,
isn’t it? …..as we are now the number one in the BPO industry…..
